Can you fit a non airbag wheel to an airbag car?

Question

My sister has an MY96 sport with a steering wheel out of a 1960s bus in it Can I fit a nardi wheel onto it and do without the airbag that hers has?

It is possible, but it would be worth checking it out with your insurance company first as they may have real issues with removing the airbag

Colin is selling a Momo wheel off a Turbo which should bolt straight onto a sport.
I bought the Fog light covers off him at the NBO and the wheel was in his boot, Looked in very good nick.

Edited to add - think it has a air bag so no insurance problems !

Hard to say what it looked like.
Round / Black etc...........

I'm insured with L+V and they said its fine for me to change to non airbag and at no charge!

If you don't have a passenger airbag then it's not really a problem (as long as your insurance co are OK), just remove the bulb once the airbag is disconnected!

DONT BOTHER, My mate called her insurance rgds these snap off security wheels cos her had a air bag and they told her "its a no no" cos you are removing a in built safety feature of the car, and ur insurance will be null and void.
Leave well alone not worth the hassle.
