Cool

binatone no questions about who u shud c. Roger Clarkes motorsport just west of u by the cat factory by Desford, their web site was work in progress last time i looked but call em on 01455 828610. I was there only the other month for my 90k (cambelt & everything) service & they r not only the most professional people u will have the fortune to use but they r also cheaper than a main dealer (not that u will of used them anyway presumably with a rex) Do a search for em on here if u dont believe me & u will find nothing but glowing reports! U can even say i sent u if u like, i have no links with them other than 100% happy customer! i take it this wood b like the 160k service (in time if not milage) so may still end up a bit more expesive than the quote above for 45k style un but just to pepeat myself u wont find better value for money
since yer local wana kum to next Cov area meet & join the other Leicester types who kum?

So just so u dont get a shock 90k type service is biggest one u can have & yer looking at maybe 50% or so more than the £400 quote above mine cost just over £700 but that included an additional 3 figured sum to replace the timing belt tensioner & assembly & a few additional bits as it had been butchered previously by a main dealer service!

My MY96 UK Turbo has gone in today for the 90K @ £800.
This plus MOT. I've got figures crossed it passes, just a little bit worried at the moment.

I was quoted £420 for mine, but they messed up, assuming it was for the 45k one. In actual fact it was for the 90k one, where just about everything is looked at, topped up and/or changed, including the cambelt. They horrified me with a £600+ bill, but after a whinge, they did knock off 10%.

Still pretty horrific though.

i have a garage near me with over 30 yrs experience of cars, they say they have done afew impreza turbo's and performanec cars.

For a full service and a cambelt change they have quoted me £259, and they want the car for the day ....

Do i use these and hope they do a good job, surely i would have a warranty from this garage incase anything goes wrong OR do i go the expensive one for peice of mind ????? choices..choices..

What do people think i should do ???

YHM but generally that quote is just too low & warrenty? Not worth skimping IMO.
