Hi Folks

Any opinions on if an STi8 standard back box would fit an MY00 classic turbo which has a TSL center section? - I guess the mountings would need some modifying but would the pipe diameters be compatible?

Is this worth swapping over as I already have a Prodrive backbox fitted? i.e. could the sti8 stnd box be more restrictive - bearing in mind the sti8 is being replaced with a PPP version.

Cheers

It will fit, but the STi 7 and 8 backbox is very restrictive. The pipe going into the BB is only 50 mm in diameter, compared to 60 mm for the rest of the system.

The thing that makes the STi box so restrictive is having all those green and red neon arrows inside!

The Prodrive is still straight through, albeit quieter and arguably a little more restrictive than most striaght through boxes.
