I am thinking of buying a 1999/2000 WRX 4 door saloon from Neweraimports in Canterbury, Kent. It will be my first Subura. The model i have asked them for is a non Sti version. Has anyone had any dealings with them before? And also does anyone know of any good insurance companies for Jap cars? Im 24 with 6 years no claims? Please help me

I know they have a "UK" trade facility but my dealings have always been with Miguel directly (who is their buyer in Japan). He was always prompt, courteous and helpful. I hope you find thats reflected in the UK.

Regarding insurance, ring round but to save time ask "do you cover imports" as your 1st question!

IMO You will not find a more honest car salesman than Miguel.
I am on my 3rd car (FTO GPX, MR2 Turbo and now STI5 Typer) from him and everyone has far exceeded my expectations. Miguel has now supplied over 20 cars (Skylines, RX7s, MR2's, Evo's, GT4's etc etc,)for Friends and Family and not one has been anything other than what was advertised or better.

A true gentlemen in a rogues world!!!!!!!
As far as insurance I use Bell Direct who take some serious beating

Thumbs up

Neweraimports are tops IMOA, its such a breath of fresh air in the second hand car market to find someone you can trust with your money! Miguel realy knows his stuff and he wont buy anything that isnt virtualy perfect. Hes also no bull and straight down the line!
Go for it, you wont regret it.
