I am trying to create a drop dowm menu for a list of options.

Anyone know how i can do this? The help isnt much use.

Wasn't aware you could do that in Excel - I know you can in Word (using forms) or Access.

Will watch this thread with interest, might learn something.

bring up the forms toolbar, and away you go mate.....

drag out a combobox, enter a range

bingo...

Ohhh

found this havent tried it yet on excel v2002

In the Allow box, click List.
Click the Source box and then do one of the following:
To define the list locally, type the list values separated by commas.
To use a range of cells with a defined name, type the equal sign (=) followed by the name of the range.
To use cell references, select the cells on the worksheet and then press ENTER.
Make sure the In-cell dropdown check box is selected.

You can use the Forms toolbar and the List or Combo box.

You can also do Right-click, Pick From List as well if the values already appear in that column.
