Currently have a Blitz Sonic Power in my STI8, but was originally in my MY02 WRX. I had done 4000 miles with it in the WRX and had no problems. However, the Blitz Sonic Power uses a cotton filter, which I was told is pretty much a K&N filter, whereas the SUS (not the LM) uses a steel cone which is crap on filtration.

Red face

I'm asking because I've ordered a Blitz sus Induction kit for my 2001 wrx and thinking about canceling it because of the bad reports i've read on here! But i've spoke to the owner of the shop and he said you have nothing to worry about! even with the dreaded maf sensor issue.I don't know what to do as i have put £50 deposit on it and i stand to loose it if i cancel it.

I've been told NOT to fit an induction kit unless you have a modified or re-programmed ecu!! (They can run very lean at the top end apparently)

Good luck anyway
