because ladies and gentleman, today I went an got me one of them new fangled impreza things...!
ok it not new, its a V plate, but i fuggin love it, im smiling from ear to ear, dancing up and down and singing at the top of my voice. all this five hours after i picked up the car.

fandabbydozy, my first scooby, dgm turbo (uk), so what if the insurance is ludicrous, so what that it took nearly 50 notes of SUL after Id already put fifteen in to get it home, so what if every little oik in a Nova is eyeing you up for a drag at the lights. BRIIILLLLIIIAAANNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTT (in a fast show stylie).

just got back from a night out, couldnt be ar55ed to drink so I could take the Scoob. yay, still ace.
Forgot to mention that car is financed by me giving up the ciggies so double yay.... longer to live and getting there quicker.
(isnt it against the laws of both physics and nature to be able to corner like that??)

Congratulations. I know what you mean about the cornering, I went from a Mondeo to my Scoob, and I couldn't believe how well it went round corners. You think your going round corners quickly now, wait till your more used to the car and see how quickly they can take bends

 

Sigh, I remember those early days well. Driving around country roads 'till 2am with the windows open - just to hear that exhaust note. Slowing down for no reason, other than to plant the throttle and sink back into the seat.
I still miss my first love.

 

oh happy days.....
our first night together, woke up this morning and instead of a) kick the dog b) coffee c) back to bed for the extra hour
it was a) straight to the window to ave a look b) breath sigh of relief that shes still there c) jump in an offskis for an hour
do you know, i think its 5mph quicker this morning...

Your unbridled enthusiam has really made my day Andy, takes me back to when I first got mine. I still feel the same way too, the car has a real personality to go with everything else.

As they say, roll on the mods eventually, and finding out the answers to all the questions that need to be asked when you start down that road.

Yeah i bought mine weeks ago still aint got it yet but i was so happy goijg aroiund and smilling all the time aftert the test drive - went into work lit the gas oven, then huge explosion, was on the floor on fire - burnt my face to buggery had to shave off all hair lost eye brows, lashes etc - 2 weeks on all burn nearly healed and still aint got the car - another 2 weeks!

just shows how the day can go from one extreme to another! !

All, i just went to halfrauds and spent fifty quid on cleaning products!! no other car would warrant that, and i even smiled as i paid the spotty oik behind the till
no sign of diminishing smile as yet, still beaming, i do like my bikes, a lot, and officially the scoob is my work transport, but I tell you what, give me a bit of loose tarmac/gravel on an open road out of town.....
car came with 17" prodrive speedlines (?) and the rest is standard.
look out for me as i bombard the technical section with all my questions!!!!
