Any of you guys with 03 cars noticed this getting better/worse after a few miles? I was hoping mine would go away, only done 2k, but it's still there, seems louder even, tho' this may just be that i'm always listening for it.

MY03 Wagon 1200 miles, Flaps like a bird!!! I only notice it sometimes but its very intrusive when it happens.

I have read somewhere that it goes after 4-5k?

Oops - soory folks I was supposed to post an update after my service.

Well, typical - a mechanic took it out, then his manager took it out and they reckon they couldn't hear a thing. I drove it home and heard it straight away.

Gonna try another dealer - this time I'll drive it with them as passengers!!!

Since the last thread I have had the boost control solenoid changed under warranty on my MY03 and the noise went away.... for about 10 days ! But now it is back (not as bad as before). So I guess it IS the problem but seems to be a feature !!
