Putting a cat on
If its the center cat its easy to put back on but if its the down pipe then its errrrrr not so easy
Some say you gain 30ish bhp by removing the cats and its the downpipe that gives the bigest gain.
Is there a reason why you want to put the cat back on ?

If its for MOT I wouldn't worry. It should pass without the centre cat.
Fitting wise, your looking at 4 bolts (2 of which are spring loaded) should take about 20 mins to do yourself.
Or a garage should charge no more then a tenner max.

If the car has a full decat system, then come mot time, should you not be able to get an mot any other way, you'll need to fit at least the centre section, this, when very warm,'should' be enough to do the job, however, if this fails, then it's aggro to fit the downpipe, hopefully, Ive answered your query!
