Next doors car has just been stopped (by passing police) with 3 lads in it!!!
the cars in apanda car saw the lights on and turned rouind to see the lads tring to steel it!!
It was a 1984 (A reg) BL Ital.

worst thing was i heard the group of lads walk by my car (all locked up etc etc) and heard them talking about it!.. i went out to see them not round the car but off round the corner.
so went back in.

Next thing i know.. police out side with the lads in the police focus!!!

To top it all off.. the blokes going on hioliday tomorrow.. just put £30 worth of 4* LRP... and he'd left his door open!!
Hes a bit excentric like that!

and its all broad day light.

Obviously total amateur joyriders that are after 10 mins of fun before burning it out. The type that wouldn't go near a scoob or any modern car cos they couldn't get past the security hence they always go for old "no-one will ever steal that" bangers that can be hot wired and driven off in seconds.

Still sad that a car someone has cherished for years can be destroyed in minutes by those scumbags. Big up to the cops for catching them but they'll prolly be out tomorrow trying it on with someone else's car .

 

i live in brum and the police are great (not) had my new scooby for only had it 12hrs, picked it up at 5pm saturday , driving back from taking the misses to work keeping to the speed limit on the motorway as i saw them join the motorway get pulled ,and the question they asked is this your car.(like i would drive a nicked car past 2 coppers)
had the car 6 months now been pulled 18 time given 16 producers (been pulled by a copper on the other side of the road while at traffic lightsfor a moving traffic offence) i don't drive like a loon and have a radar decector, even my misses has been pulled twice , but the best part is when the car got nicked it took them 6 hrs to find it , tracker told me with in 5mins my car had gone and they stopped it in derby race round the city centre

no mate 28yrs old and burbury don't suit me , been pulled coming back from work in a shirt and tie 4 of the 18 times just the car lots of jealousy i think been asked so many time "so what do you do ?" how can you aford a car like this -at your age"
