I'll be interested, once I've worn out the OEM tyres on the new WRX.

Excellent price, I'd just bought 4 x 205/50-16's for the old car and they were £93 each!

I would buy and store for that price if you're going to need new rubber in the next few months.

I've just paid 350 fitted for 205/50/16 and that was the best deal i could find. List is about 140 a corner.

Well I wasnt really looking but at that price you would be mad not to buy them up. Thats less than £60 a corner.

Ozzy - put them on your credit card then sell ur toyos for £30 a corner - that way it will cost you about £110 for a set of 4 F1's

Talking

The last set of Goodyears cost me about the same (£52+VAT per corner IIRC), so these deals do appear every now and again. The cost price to trade is much less than £60 (if you're a big enough dealer), so it just goes to show how much mark-up is stuck on tyres.

If another dealer says this is below their costs, they're

a) lying,
b) not buying enough to get a good price, or
c) buying from someone who's making a bigger cut than them

If you've spare cash, then it's a fantastic bargain

Stefan

Unhappy

I phoned this aft, and had the phone put down on me when I mentioned Scoobynet and tyres....
I rang again, and was immeidately diverted to a voice mail on a mobile.
I left a message saying I wanted to buy 4 e.t.c e.t.c but no-one has got back to me..

Has anyone else had this problem.
Perhaps they are overloaded with Scoobynetters requests for tyres!

Tony

Cool

I can't comment on being the best deal around but I happened to be at Crossroad Garage yesterday for a service & can confirm that I purchased 4x GDS3s for £260. In fact, it was a bit less than that finally.

My tyre size is 215/40/17

Tony,

Maybe they are inundated with ScoobyNetters who can't miss a bargain (like me ) Try email them. I emailed my order details through and asked them to call me for my VISA number - they were very helpful when they called back.

Cheers,

Ian.
