With A genunine 360bhp on Nobles Rollers
My MY00 276bhp WRX Type RA running spot on with just a cat back exhaust, optimax and booster managed 260bhp on Nobles rollers running 1.2bar. I know mine is quick and we are talking an extra 100bhp on top . Must have been one seriously quick scoob.

With a 9 second 0-100 time shows that it was .

Hi Tony

That was the registered speed on the speedo at the time, I know that the speedo can be out a bit at that speed, but with the 19's on I think it was probably about right.

We got that speed out of 4th gear when we were mapping the car last year, I think it was coming up for 7000 in 4th @1.2 bar.

Anyway's m8, I'm not claiming to have the fastest scoob in the UK, was realy just looking for a trump card

{edited for spelling)

At a guess, Prodrive. They have a few at 300bhp. No aircon, stereo or cup holders though

For the 1/4m my money is still on Andy F. His car might no actually be the fastest (harvey!!) but it requires a degree of skill (even with 4wd) to get good times with 400bhp+

For top speed even I have andy licked

Question

Are we agoing to start the debate again about exactly what you mean about fastest ?

e.g. 0-60, 1/4 mile, top speed, fastest around a track, fastest on a wet and bumpy road road in the dark, fastest 60 - 100mph in top gear, fastest theoretically based on rolling road results ???

Different cars will excel in different areas, depending on how they have been set-up.

e.g. for top speed, you'll need good aerodynamics, lots of power and tall gearing. For good times on track you'll need uprated suspension, good brakes, sticky tyres.

Some of the attributes required can be mutually exclusive, so unless you have a definition of "fastest", the answer won't be one car, and rather you'll have different cars being "better" than others in certain areas.

My shed is here with a 12.8 1/4mile and 107mph trap speed at the 1/4.http://www.yorkshirescoobys.co.uk/frameset.htm Red UK Wagon.

Harveys is on here, think he did 12.2 at the last Elvington and 116mph at the 1/4.http://www.tyneteesscoobies.com/Membersindex.html

There are others, but from what i heard, AndyF is pretty good over the 1/4.

Define fasest though?

I think andy did an 11.69, but hes added about 80hp since then.

Bobs car is the most powerful car running at the moment I beleive, but not for long I think.

Current targets are probably 10.xx 1/4s with 500+ hp

I thought we had already agreed (in another thread) that the only way to decide was Scoobynet Trumps?
