I have been offered a Ramair panel filter,so are they any good.They do seem to be rather on the oily side so will it mess the MAF sensor up.And how do they compare(or dont) to an ITG panel filter.

Not recommended by Subaru or Prodrive for the MY99/00 for that very reason.

Forgot to say at the moment it's for a '94 wrx,but perhaps not for long,as i am looking for an STI V/VI.

I thought Prodrive put them in as part of the 96 PPP. I could be wrong though.

I took out my RamAir filter, as where I live, I couldn't easily get the cleaning kits. (A new paper filter every 6 months would have been cheaper!) I didn't have any problems with it (On a MY96)

I suppose I should try selling it...

 

It was part of some at least of the earlier PPPs until 1999.

 

wilsons of chadwell heath sold me 1 for my my00 and yep you guessed it maf failure didn`t trust them from then onwards
