I am about to embark on fitting a new up pipe to my classic WRX, has anyone done one before and how difficult is it. I know the downpipe and turbo have to come off and soak the bolts in WD40 or something similar. Are there any gaskets on the downpipe? How much difference does it make?

There are gaskets on the turbo to downpipe flange, turbo to up-pipe flange and up-pipe to manifold flange.
Some folks have had good results, others no difference as far as i know.
