I'm getting a really annoying belt squeal between 2-3k on my 96 wrx
I've checked the tension of the only belt I can see and it does feel loose.
I can't work out how to adjust this belt, any pointers?

Will try that,
pretty sure it's the belt though,
squeals more if it is wet and especially if the air con is on

Now I'm worried.
Tried to pinpoint which belt was squealing, the sound appears to be coming from the very bottom left drivers side of the engine, it doesn't appear to be the belts at the front.
I'm not sure if it's my ears, but the only things I can think of are the cambelt (changed 8k ago) or the turbo.
Any ideas?

Well I can stop panicking now
Heatshield around the exhaust manifold is loose, putting a bit of weight on the heatshield stops the squeal!!!
Think I know what I'm doing this weekend
