Everytime i start up the computer (switch it on) it boots up ok then goes straight to the "my programs" screen not the desktop. I close the screen and it's fine, how do i make it just go straight to "my desktop"?

under the START-PROGRAMS menu look it STARTUP & see if my programs or explorer is listed. If it is then delete it.
