OK chaps - got the info on the TFT panels..

So I'm going to be getting a couple of the NEC 1760nxs, I now need a dual-head card..

Seeing that I dont really play games or do any heavy graphixs work what is the best card to get, I dont want to be spending £100s on a card.. I do want to be using AGP tho..

Is the Matrox G450/550 range any good - even tho it only has 32mb RAM..

Cheerio

Matrox G450/550 is ideal for office apps IMO.

Crap 3D gaming core (I should know, I've got one in my home PC and work PC) but good reputation for high image quality.

The PowerDesk software adds some handy bits for multi screen working too.

Get a 9700 pro or cheaper ATI they do fantastic dual output and also ultramon is a great tool for controlling the dual display, you wont be sorry!

No need for a specialised 2d card etc imho unless you need it for something specific.

I have an old quad head G100 MMS which I bought from someone from here (cheers ) It works great, I don't play games and I have it plugged into two 19" monitors, the only problem is once you're dual headed you can't use a single monitor anymore because there just isn't enough "space"
