Question

I've been snapping away since last November on a Canon S40, but as yet haven't got round to getting anything in print.

Where would you recommend on-line for printing?

Well i would recommend you buy a Canon i850 printer for 140 quid and some Kodak High Glossy paper for it, amazing print quality for very little cash.

Alternately i believe most ppl take them to their local jessups.

Thanks P1, the printer you mention does come highly rated on the sites I looked at (best price £150 inc VAT & delivery). That has got to be the way to go- eventually. Meanwhile, on-line printing services will have to do. Jessop's own service looks reasonable on price?

Any other suggestions?

I could be wrong, but I am sure that Boots have been advertising on the radio that if you take your memory card down to them you can get 50 printouts from £5.

Cheers,

Nick

I bought an Epson Stylus Photo 915 and a ton of glossy paper. They come out fantastic.

Wink

It's the price of the toner & the rate I use it I don't like - or is it just HP's.

Inkjet prints will fade over time, unlike proper photo prints from somewhere like Photo Box.

Depends what you want them for really.......

...err at 49p ea for a 7x5 for their Internet printing...

...I'd rather pop into the local Jessops with a CF card and get them at 20p ea overnight, or 25p within the hour, thankyou

Especially as I took 155 jpegs totalling 345MBytes across 2 CF cards into them tonight

i have a Kodak printer which takes both types of cards, you just insert them into a slot and they appear on a small screen. You can alter them slightly then print them out (you can use it through the computer as well), it's made by Lexmark - interested? it might be for sale
