routing 1 way....

to end an office argument.....

I am saying that routing can be setup 1 way only...is this correct (I know it is anyway, just want confirmation).
So you can VPN 1 way but not the other...

I appreciate that prob not all routers/switches have this capibility but that's not the argument.

Depends on how you are doing it.. ie software / hardware..

but in theory yes.. but you need to accept packets from the destination so you know that the packet got there sucessfully.

Routing one way is nigh on useless since anything useful requires packets to flow in both directions, however, if you're talking connections initiated from one side only any stateful firewall should do the trick.
