Hi gang!

I posted in October about a work "colleague" who damaged my Scoob in our private car park.....nothing serious.....£160 quoted by Chipsaway.....no worries I thought!

I showed the quote to this guy who replied:"How much would you like me to pay?"
I started laughing, then I realised he wasn't joking.......
To cut to the chase, he basically gave me the two fingers!

Old bill could offer no help and neither could my employer, so I passed it over to Greenlight who in turn hired Angel Assistance on my behalf. They had to get his home address from DVLA and his insurance details from him after some threatening letters.
He was claiming that he had not damaged my car at all, despite the incident being witnessed by several other people who were kind enough to volunteer their services to my solicitor.

As soon as his insurance company saw the details of the case, they paid up in full, including compensation for all my hassle, bringing to an end a disgusting affair which highlights how far some people will go to try to save themselves a few quid!

Sweet Victory.....I just look at him and smile.....words are not required!

Cheers

DBM

congrats, Pity your insurance company couldn't give him a kick up the **** for good measure!
I'd imagine his insurance premium next time will be up by much more than the cost of the repair.

Cool

Nice one...I am pleased to hear from someone who did not give up at the first fence.

Well done.
