Looking for posts from fellow owners of 4 door classics who do not have a spilt rear seat. Can anybody tell me the earliest model that has this configuration as I have a MY94 that is detailed as a WRX on the V5?

Mine's a classic MY99 WRX and it doesn't have a split rear sit.

I know that UK MY97-00 have split rear seats!

I'm sure new age owners can confirm for newer cars, as can owners with a MY93-96 UK!

 

I may be wrong but it was an option on the UK classic a friends MY98 has it, so some will have some will not.

I dont think it is even an option on the new age.

No split on MY01 WRX 4 door.

 

No split on an STi8, but I remember someone saying that there was on the MY03 WRX - just not in the STi.

AFAIK all UK classic saloons had a folding rear seat except the RB5 and P1, not sure about other UK specials. All import classics didn't have one.

 

My MY97 had a split rear seat.

 

Nothing from the MY93-96 people though!

 

MY 96 UK turbo had split rear seats

 

The MY95 WRX I own does not have a folding rear seat

 

So I think the conclusion is:

Japanese 2 & 4 doors do not have folding rear seats!

UK/Euro classic 4 doors do (MY93-00) Except the RB5, 22B and P1

MY01-03 4 doors do not have folding rear seats.

I assume all the 5 doors have folding rear seats!!

 

Great response, thanks all. But to further confuse the issue I have seen at least 2 Classic WRX's (My 96 & 98) that have a split rear seat!!!
