Big Thanks!
mods, move if you like, but think this is a decent place for this for a little while
As many know, I leave these shores on Saturday morning, and thus the car is being sold, so the blackbeast chapter of my scooby ownership has come to an end. It's been a fun three years of ownership, but the car cannot come with me. There may also be a hiatius in my scooby ownership, but we'll see, you never know what bargins I might find in Canada
The real reason for this thread is to thank various people, and in no particualr order either.
* Simon and the Moderating team at ScoobyNet - Thanks for this lovely BBS which has grown considerably since I joined in march 99. It's a excellent resource, plus I have made many friends from my time on here
* Graham and Nathan at GDA Sports Cars - Big thumbs up for GDA for offering excellent advice and service. If you need a jap car specialist to look after the scoob, I would have no hesitation in recommending GDA.
* Tom Butler and the team at Schofield Insurance - Without Tom and the team I would not have been able to insure my car. I would recommend Schofields to anyone or everyone, espcially if you have a modified Jap import. I've been with many insurance companies over the years but I;ve never had the amazing quailty of service that I have with Tom.
* The last thanks goes out to all of those who I've met over the years and who have become friends with, and there are quite a few of you (Kent, Sussex (both clans
), and Surrey meet types
). Thanks for all the advice and support, both about life and scoobies. This is what I love about SN, it's a community thing, some might think it very sad that the main reason for some of my freindships are due to the car I own, but hey, who cares.
This does not mean I've leaving, oh no! I'll still be around, muppeting and probably asking many more silly questions :d and i will be returning to the UK from time to time, so you might have to put up with my ugly mug appearing at the odd meet
But until then, thanks to all of you for making the last 4 years a really fun time!

zack - have a look here have used GDA for 3 years and they are excellent. Quite a few other local chaps on here use them too.
Phil - yup stickers coming with me! I shall pencil that date in
Rich - up yours!

I will be returning in mid july for a few weeks R&R so I think a massive session combined with a BBQ might be in order.

RSW - Toronto, well more specifically the new office is on Skymark Avenue in Mississauga, which is apparently the fastest growing city in the world! Bottom line it's the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). Seems there are loads of scoobs and owners out there.
Best thing is there is a School Disco at a club in Toronto every friday night
