just been charged 3.50 for a rear fog light switch illumination bulb, couldnt get it anywhere else but from a dealer !

this is the bulb that makes the switch light up with your lights, not the orange warning illumination, thats prolly twice the price ! *******...

Centre pocket for Forester - suits impreza WRX and converts double to single din. Natty damped flap (oo er) over a pocket. Looks very good, matches dash colour perfectly.

A tenner, squire. Almost fell over - far too cheap . Bloke at parts couldn't believe it either

How about £25000 for an STI 8, when they're about £17000 in Japan? LOL:

pete, bulbs are replaceable (my99 anyway) - slot into the side of the switch and have a half turn lock to keep em in. need to drop the dash and push the switch out from the back to get at them...

Why in gods name are Subaru prices so outrageous, can someone seriously me answer that.
I mean I got quoted £280 for a set of front brake pads, for f**ks sake I'm driving a SUBARU not an Lamborghini!
Thinking about it you'll probably be able to get Lambo parts cheaper!!
I think SUK needs a good kick up the ar$e and get their act together, me thinks a note to "Which" magazine would be a good start.

Yes, I can answer.
It's because we live in "Rip off Britain" which the nice Japanese refer to as "Treasure Island".:

Its because you all pay the prices!!

They see you throwing good money on PPP on 20" drainpipe exhausts super induction kits Gold Wheels you spend £1,000's on not much!!

So, they think lets fleece 'em!! simple - Those brake pads seem a bit high????????????????/!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't Halfords do them for £15?? or something??

The MAF sensor thingy (MY99 onwards IIRC). If you replace the whole unit its going to cost you £280. If you just buy the sensor bit its about £80. The part number is 22794AA010 - Meter CP-AIR Flow

There obviously maybe times when you may need to replace the whole unit though. Useful to know though if its just the actual sensor part which needs replacing.

How about £22+VAT for one replacement high level rear spoiler fixing bracket for a 5 door. As theyre plastic coated, once it splits it just rusts real quick.
