Pulled onto a roundabout yesterday & when I put my foot down going around it my exhaust gave multiple bangs (6-7 in a row) like a machine gun & my knocklink went through the roof!! Not sure if there wer flames as it was daylight.

I had very little fuel in the car so I wonder if that had anything to do with it?

Anyone had a similar experiece or know what it was?

sounds like a bit of a SaxoBoy moment you had there !

sounds like it was mis-firing , possibly due to lack of few supply ??

were you low on fuel ?
cornering hard? (round a roundabout the fuel is pushed away from the tank)

or could it be bad wiring to the coil packs you've just fitted!?
(again -causing mis-fire?!?)

The answer is to de-mod back to standard and give the rest of us a chance Maf...

Coils are firing fine & yes I was low on fuel. Was on my way to fill up.
