Apologies if this has been done before. Ive got the budget for a decat downpipe but not enough for a re-map, so dont wont to do one if the other will become necessary!

Well the turbo just spools up a bit faster I guess. But I set my turbo in the 20 psi zones anyway. I'm not a patient man am I?

I,m just about to fit a Blitz Nur spec r exhaust system to to my jap wrx. Gonna get a knock detector just to warn me if detonation is occuring. I'll not hear if it is with this exhaust - Lol

Thats a good idea. Which detector are you going to fit? I might go the same route so at least I can monitor the situation myself when the zorst is on. Somebody showed me a row of leds that connect to another sensor (oxygen?) as a run lean tell-tale.

Let me know how it goes when you fit it (I assume you going for a full catless system).

Not too sure how the Nur spec r exhaust works. If i'm correct, it will replace one of the cats. Anyway, i'm having problems with detting on my 93 WRX import at the min so really need to get on top of it first before i fit the exhaust. I only have an induction kit as my other engine mod. I have been warned that the boost which is running at a whisker over 1 bar is too much so need to find out how to get that turned down.

Still in the process of enquiring about a detector that will tell you if your detting.
