HI guys couple of questions really about my decat exhaust.

I had the downpipe replaced by a scoobysport one and centre and rear replaced with a blitz Nur spec R.

So it took this guy about 3 hours to fit who charged £80 quid.

1st question)
is that resonable (yes/no)

He did not want to touch the Up-Pipe,

2nd Question
how long does it take to fit an up pipe.

I have also brought a CEL fix for the engine management light.
but so far no light has come on.

3rd question.
will the engine management light come on once i have replaced the up pipe, will it be a significant increase in bhp.

4th question
what the overall bhp gain from the full decat exhust inc up pipe.

£80 is cheap..

its only £26 per hour which is reasonable..

I wouldnt touch an up-pipe either, mind you at 26 per hour I would.. They can be ****'s to do though.

Yes

2nd Question
how long does it take to fit an up pipe.

Depends, as downpipe has to come off then you either take the turbo off or leave it on and take the up pipe out from below. Either way the engine has to be raised off its mountings to be able to do this.

3rd question.

AFAIK yes it will probably come on, and it should make a bit of a difference to bhp and torque on the MY01, as they have a cat in the up pipe

what the overall bhp gain from the full decat exhust inc up pipe.

Hard to say really, look on dyno scoobies at the top and see if any with similar spec. I would guess at aroun 260ish
