Just about to get a new Stereo for my Impreza. Its is an import, is there anything i should be aware of or will any stereo go in?.
probably everyone is going to think whatever am i on about but i was just curious.
Just the guy in the garage said that they fit differntly or something.

What model year? If it's an old shape (<my00), it'll be a double din. At the time, the EU spec was single din.

Everything beyond that is double din...

Mine came over (MY95) and it was a single din. It was still a Jap alpine model so only picked up radio 2 (i think it was that). So changing it to a normal radio was just a simple take out and plug new one in
