Essentially it's a spark plug fitted just behind the rear silincer in the exhaust. Passing gasses are ignited hence the flames.

Basicly it's a spark plug in the tail pipe that ignites the unburnt fuel in the exahust gasses.
Giving you a flame out the exhaust

The kit part is the colection of bits that make the spark plug work

Didn't someone post only the other day about getting 3 points for driving a car in an unsafe condition, due to having a flamer kit fitted?

Nothing against them - can't help but chuckle when I follow one - just be careful

Yeah hades, he got a £40 fine and 3 points.

Its just a bit fo fun. I wouldnt do it all the time but the odd moment is funny. There was a video in the members gallery where a scoob was following another scoob with the flamer kit. Looked amusing

Do you have a complete de-cat exhaust ? You need one....
enjoy

PS Had a couple of two footers out of mine at Boxhill Sunday, without the VTA valve I'm ordering.....

Puts your car in a "dangerous" condition and gets you 3 points. Cool, but stupid at the same time.

Now, an *afterburner* kit... That would be worthwhile (not just the exhaust of the same name )

I bought a flamer kit but will probably sell it before i have it fitted. I dont fancy drilling into my Blitz exhaust. Maybe if it was another exhaust i would probably do it but not now!
