Hi,
I have a non PPP STi 7. What rev should the on-board limiter be set to for 'optimal' shift up.
Mine is currently set at 6k.
THANKS....

I set mine at 6200. That way I change up at about 6500 when it beeps. That's about right for me.

I can actually change by exhaust noise, when I cant hear the CD anymore I change up

I've set mine to 7100 as I usually change up at about 6500 (when going for it). If I hear the beep, I know I'm long overdue a change and by the time you do change, it's probably at 7500 anyway (and about to hit the limiter (not that that's happened yet)).
I've heard the beep once in about the last 3 months BTW....

At 6200 just right for 1st and 2nd gear changes as by the time you have reacted engine at 6800
but in higher gears way too early
So like Matt set mine High at 7100 as a warning
when heavily envolved in cornering, thus feathering throttle and not limit out during cornering.
