Has anybody had any back problems from the stock MY00 bucket seats? I find they're lacking lumbar support and I'm starting to get a sore back from them - anyone had this problem and found any simple solutions?

I've always had cars with bucket seats and never had a problem before.

I find them very comfortable (MY00), just right for my back. Have had a Merc 180 and a VW Passat in the past, both of which I found very uncomfortable.

I drive a friends 306 occasionally and that has no lumbar support at all, what car did you have before the MY00?

S2000 but only for a week so I can't count that.

200SX - excellent lumbar support - even had a little handle to adjust it.

I was going to ask the same question...... but with an addition one.

How "upright" do people have their seats? Reclined?

Mine is more or less as far upright as I can get it.

I find that the comfy 'sweet spot' is very small, and surrounded on all sides by agony. If anyone ever adjusts my seat, it takes me ages to get it back to a position that I can bear to sit in for more than 10 minutes.

Personally I have the back reclined a few notches, with the back of the seat cushion as low as it'll go and the front raised up so that it supports my knees whilst still allowing me to push the clutch all the way down.

I'll try reclining the seat a bit, it is completely upright at the moment - all the better to feel like a rally driver!

I've tried to lower the front but it only seems to lower one side!

Mine is as upright as it'll go, and that's the best position for me.

Make sure that the front of your legs is quite supported too, as that can cause back pain...

My seat is increadable reclined. But then I am a laid back sort of person. A frined once asked me if I used my car to sleep in and forgot to change the angle of the seat when I woke up
