London Scooby Meet at The Ace Cafe London(Feb4th)

I am pleased to announce the first Tuesday in every month is now offically ours at the Ace cafe London, starting this Febuary the 4th, from 7:00pm until close (around midnite).
scoobs and other jap performance cars are welcome
Look forward to seeing all who come along.

Ah-ha heres the thread, other jap models too huh ed?? Now then do i bring my new scoob or my old silvia (which incidently is now up for sale)

Bugeye, i wouldn't bother mate, wait 'till you've seen the state of duck's car, dont think its ever seen a vaccum cleaner - you need to wipe your feet when you get out of the car

7 foot, not sure how many will be there tonite. This is the very first meet, it's only been posted for a week.
I know of six that will be there (one minus a scoob....cough!)
there may be a few others that may turn up unexpected and will be more than welcome
next month will be much better. It will be in Japanese Performance Mag (out feb 14th) and also there will be a couple of suprises for next month.....which those who are there tonite will be told, and it will be posted up over the next few days too.

There weren't that many of us last night but I think we all realised it was quite late notice and we were just testing the water.
The location is a good one with easy access, plenty of parking and hot drinks, essential in this weather.
It is going to be a monthly meet and next month looks set to be a biggy.

I think the best idea will be to suggest this at the Surrey meet. Instead of organising a meet, it looks like you are just trying to have a monthly meet and make it bigger than the Surrey meet.
If you go to the Surrey meet and suggest it there, you will get a whole load of us going up!

Not too bad seeing as it was short notice, and the first one. I think there was about 10 cars in total that turned up through out the evening. Shame about the power outage at the start, could have right gone a cuppa when I first turned up!! Big up to Ed for organising, lets hope it's the start of a good regular meet up, I know he has a few surprises in store for next month!

For those who missed it, there will be a meet on the first tuesday of every month, next one is March 4th.
Money, this meet is for everyone...if i had made it to the surry meet last month it would have been brought up. Things came together quicker than expected......I intend to to go to the surry meet on suday and will mention it then (if i manage to meet peeps at kew)
It has been set on first tuesday evening of each month as that seemed to not interupt with other meets (like the surry meet on second sunday for example)

I know its for everyone Ed. If you dont come to the Surrey meet, im sure some of us will ask about. It just seemed in the beginning that you were trying to make it the big monthly meet and take over the Surrey meet.
Ill tell them up at the Surrey meet if your not there though and tell them to have a look at this thread.
Whats probably best is do what Dr Evil does. About a week before the meet, post a new topic up showing directions etc

origonaly i was looking to make a west london meet.......someone said a few round this way go to the surrey meet so thought i go to that too, so some of us (mostly people that already go to the surrey meet and a few new additions, me being one of them) decided to meet at kew to go in convoy to the surrey meet.
We can still keep that going as well as have a london meet now

Yeah the Surrey meet will always go on! Last meet was good as there were about 30 scoobs and quite a few of them were newbies. So think how big the next meet will be if the regulars turn up!
