is that a new S401 you just got? the ultimate car in my mind. i'd take it over a M5 if i was offered, i cant think of a car i want more but cannot import.i'd heard that there were, unfortunetely, only 400 s401's, and they sold out quick

you lucky brits should be getting the all new Turbo Legacy by around september; looking at around 275hp, 250ft/lb torque @2400rpm, Bilsteins, 18" wheels. full details announced 5/23

sorry i hadnt seen this thread, i had already posted this new pic on a seperate one. this new turbo model wont be so far off a s401; although no 6spd and Brembos yet. there is rumour of a 350hp twin turbo H6 STI version in the pipeline, but its likely to be quite expensive i've heard. this new turbo should be more than enough car for most.

Yes it is the limited edition, mine is 063 of 400 in blue. I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time, the dealer had imported it for himself and then decided to sell it on arrival. It was an offer I could not refuse. With the Subaru dynamics I agree with you on the choice over an M5. As every other car is a BMW, this is at least different. It could be the only S401 in the UK.

Don
