Dirtiest Scooby around?
I'm one of these sad gits that washes, polishes the scoob at least twice a week. Over the last 10 days between work & travelling I've done about 1500 miles on gritted, slushy, salty roads.
Now the only way you can tell the colour of the car is by looking at the roof - and I must admit - I like it
Even the alloys look like anthracite ones instead of their normal shiny silver
It now looks more like what it was built for. Saying that I'll probably be out with the sponge tomorrow.
Anybody else this sad?
Alasdair

I've not washed mine in about 10 weeks
It was off the road for 2 while I was on holiday over Xmas/New Year, but someone pointed out at work that they couldn't read my rear plate. The silver RB5 wheels have turned a nice dark anthracite

Will post pics of mine at the weekend before and after. Not cleaned it since I bought it so 2k miles of dirt, a lot of which was spent rallying around Dartmoor! Not even Sti mudflaps can stop that ****! Looking forward to testing the Swissol before the Surrey meet on Sunday.

I'm forever washing my car, the neighbours think I'm mad and its seems to have turned it to a running joke about rubbing the paintwork off. I'll wash it in the dark, in the rain, in the snow.....
In fact, its going to get washed tomorrow morning before I go out and get it dirty again

i am that sad, was in the new forest at the weekend & couldnt help driving into every muddy puddle in sight to cover my car in mud, thrashed the nuts of it through all manner of country lanes too, thanks too sparshatts in botley for re-setting my engine malfunction light. not that dirty though bit dissappointed, know what you mean about prefering it all muddy. thats what its supposed to look like innit>
Whilst there is so much salt and crap on the roads, the B is getting a jetwash after use so that minimal muck remains on the car after a run.
There is a place near to me that does an excellent hand wash under inspection by me at a Little Miss Discounted rate, which I now attend to keep the bodywork clean.
Then, when the weather is dry, I use the Wax wizard stuff on the car to keep it tip top.
Trouble is, in this weather it is so hard to keep the cars clean.
