Microsoft have apparently announced that in 3-4 years time they will not supply any products to businesses.

They will only supply home users and ASPs.

This is part of Bill Gates grand plan to get everyone to sign upto ASPs.

Where did you get this gem from? I'd like to check it out somewhat is I think it's highly unlikely seeing as they coin it in hand over fist from businesses...

I was told by our support company, who deals with Microsoft. I work in IT and was told unoffically, and therefore can't really give there name out as they will get annoyed with loads of phone calls, which I am sure they will get.

But apparently Microsoft think they will make loads more money this way.
I hope it doesn't happen, but after some of Bill Gates recent speaches I am sure it will.

If thats the way then Im sure other IT staff will think the same as me about Linux and Novell.

Well, they see their ".net" approach as the way forward which is a solution for ASPs, but not every company is convinced that ASPs are the way to go...

Perhaps that it?
