A long time ago, in a galaxy far away...
I believe the bbs was started by Phil Dawes, it was I think, related to SIDC, then it spawned into Scoobynet. Phil then sold it to Simon De Banke, who now runs it, along with the team of mods.
Has been around as we know it for at least two years, I first turned up in march '99, and have been here ever since.
Oh, and if any of the above is incorrect, please feel free to slag me off!

only kidding but i couldnt resist !!! LOL
Paul and Markus are both correct ! The BBS in this format started around November 98, but did run a slightly different format prior to that as a test bed to which a small number of us were present
