Yeah, i got excited when i when i pulled up in a BP peterol station in Folkestone and i saw a 98RON sticker on the SUL pump. I asked the guy at the counter and he told me that the stickers had been on the pump for years and they just havent bothered repalcing them. SO before you fill up and start ragging around ask the chap at the counter.

Perhaps Q8 import their petrol stocks directly, rather than buying from a UK refinery.

Q8 sul 98octane petrol is what it says.we have a new garage in our area with brand new pumps,when i asked the manager he said it was 98 octane.i have said it lots of times before but the car(my00 turbo )does go smoother and seems quicker.the car was in for aservice a while back , and the service guy said thst the car was one of the smoothest he has seen for a long time.i put this down to the q8 sul petrol

Best thing to do is to fill a scoob up, hook up some det-cans and give it as much advance as it can take! Hoepfully it doesnt degrade at the rate of Optimax!!!!!
