DeanF,

My car was only imported in febuary of this year, that might explain why its clean.. no paint on there..!!

ibm380d,

If you have bought the vent to atmosphere dump valve then remember to put a bung in the pipe coming from the induction side of the inlet, where the standard recirculating dump valve would plumb back into the inlet, you can just see a jubilee clip on mine on the pipe that joins to the turbo inlet..!

yours will look like this...

Sometimes you can get the recirculating kit that takes the air dumped out of the outlet on the dump valve back into the inlet before the turbo.... Yours will most likly be vent to atmosphere....

for adding pic go to:

http://bbs.turbosport.co.uk/upload.php

If you bought the kit for the impreza you should not have to alter how it fits..

Dhorwich, Thats the same DV as I have I have a few questions you might be able to help with.

Can the older trumpet be swapped for the newer vent ??

Can these DV be 'serviced' ive heard of springs inside that can get tired ??

What sort of differences if any did you notice between the old and new DV ??

Ta heaps
J
