Question

I've recently fitted a Knocklink with sperate sensor... the sensor was fitted as per Jan Shims pic (i.e under the IC). I was just woundering where the standard one lives 'cos i can't seem to find it! Im having a bit of trouble with knock showing on my knocklink which the ECU doesn't seem to want to do anything about... so i wanted to check the OEM sensor (as per the Subaru diagnostic manual). But i can't find the damm sensor .

Anybody know where it is... a pic would be good too.

Tony.

Tone, if you look just under the throttle body you will see a single wire with a grey connector, follow this wire and it leads you to the KS, there is a gap just down to the right of the throttle body which if you look down closely you can see the KS, it is quite hard to see unless you use a torch...
I will pop out in a min and take a photo for ya..

Tony,

As described above, below throttle linkage, very deep down.
It's one of those 'EASY' to get out...'*******' to get back type things

Oh! and the throttle linkage is quite good at trapping your hand. the more you pull the tighter is squeezes.
