Thinking of having my P1 decatted (totally), can anyone tell me the impact on fuel economy and any other likely problems in doing this ?

cheers

Believe it or not, initially it will make the car more economical, however, once you get used to it, it'll be the same or slightly worse,
great fun though!

No difference for me on my usual trips. On a long run however down the motorways i used to get around 27 mpg, it's now down to 23-24 mpg. Is it worth it?.............. YUP

Economy wise you won't really notice the difference but I've just put the cat back on my P1 after a few scary threads on here about the damage they can do to P1's that haven't had the ECU remapped to cope with them.

Up to you though

I don't often see the motorway, so i usually get around 21mpg.
I used to get 19mpg on 95 RON!
