Keep dreaming.
You may notice an increase in torque, but I'm assuming you don't have a full de-cat system.
To be honest, unless you de-cat and perhaps install a Dawes Device, you won't notice too much.

i have a scoobysport downpipe fitted and the difference it made to my car was most certainly 'very noticeable'.

It won't be massive but driveability will increase substantially.

O.K , my dreams of massive power increases have been dampened some what , but surely the car will be wailing like a banshee in comparison to the standard down pipe ! or shall I give up on this pre conception aswell!!!

first thing i noticed was how much 'rougher' it sounded from cold.

a blip or two and u can hear much more of what the engine and turbo are doing.

no more muffled sounds - was like the water was taken out of your ears and u could hear detail...

performance wise... smoother.
no big blast.
should notice that you can drive from about 500 rpm lower than normal.

on full chat - will notice more of a barking sound i think.. from outside the car...
inside youll hear the turbo spooling up and down.

i have SS DP, STi resonated centre, SS BB.

Get it ,you don't have a choice , its the next step to going further , there is no end .....
I think you'll be happy , most people are , it brings the car alive , nicer to rev too .

Thumbs up

Well I thought that the DP mod was one of the more noticeable mods you can do. Good value for the price.

The Dawes is probably the 'daddy' for cheap mods for performance gain though.

Thanks for the replies , don't feel like I'm about to waste a load of money now , if it improves the drivability , GREAT, I love how it drives now & as for hearing the turbo spooling up, well superb , is this fetish of loving the sound of my exhaust something I should keep under my hat ?
