Yesterday was my first ever attempt.

First run 5.37, 2nd run 5.16

I reckon I could crack 5 seconds with more practice. When checking the graphs provided with the runs I got to 30 4 tenths quicker in the 2nd run but obviously lost a couple between 30 & 60.

Anyone else?

 

No, I didn't have a go but I watched for a bit (including an <B>incredibly</B> loud Porsche). I was waiting for the GT40 to have a go but it didn't look like it was going to.

How did they do the timing? I mean, it's pretty easy to do a standing quarter, but how do you do a 0-60?

 

Mikeesingh and Lizzywizzy both had runs.
I only got their second runs, but they can be found here (about 2M each)

 

Saw a Renault 5 turbo (of some kind) do 3.98 seconds..............

It just went, like a bullet from a gun. Hardly any wheel spin and wastegate chirps coming very quickly...

I actually wondered if this was a correct time. Apparently he was consistant on 3 runs

That orange/redy R 5 Turbo had twin engines!!!! 250bhp each i think! i saw it do 3.55secs

very happy with results, beat lizzy STI (5.00 sec to 0-60)
not bad for UK car with just exaust and filter mod

i think i could get it down to 4.8 if i didnt hit rev limiter in 1st gear

Did anyone see the black 3 door cossie? 3.7 seconds !!! goddam was that one fast car!!

That R5 is VERY quick.

Take heart in that it is always trailered to events - never gets there under it's own steam.

Makes me feel better thinking that anyway

Best time was 5.88 MY00 full exhaust and induction kit.

Got 0-39 in 1.10 seconds but messed up the second gear change.

I never thought 0-39 that Quick would be possible?

 

damn missed it.

Anyone know the best time for a completely standard MY00 Impreza Turbo?

I had one go at the end of the day,hit rev limiter in second at only 52mph,hence only 5.19 time.2 weeks ago I achieved a 4.88 0-60 time selecting 3rd at 50mph.Need a gearbox with a slightly longer 2nd gear than standard 94 WRX box,any sugestions so I can get a more respectable time next year?

my my97 uk car does aprox 70-75mph in second if that any help atleast thats what the speedo says
