Folks,

I was just wondering where you lot go for servicing etc?
The reason I ask is that I'm becoming increasingly unhappy with my current Subaru dealership..... little things like not changing the tyres pressures when they swap the wheels over (even though I told them exactly what I wanted) and then telling me they had. Charging me for bulbs I didn't need, scratching my bumper when fitting a set of fog lamp covers etc etc

So I'd love to know where other people reccommend.

I go to KT Green too. I didn't put their name down on purpose because I didn't want people to just think I was trying to slag them off on the net. Everyone's experiences are different.

I just wondered where else there was to go...

on the subaru site you can look at dealers by region...about 3 in Yorks.....

 

I have found R N Golden to be excellent...fair price, excellent service and friendly...

I would also recomment K T Greens tho as I have found their service second to none..

As you say everyone has differing experiences...

Mine goes to Burrells in Doncaster. But thats because I work in Leeds, but live in Howden. Can't comment on the work they do, because its only had its 1k service so far. 7.5k coming up shortly.

KT's for me - no problems so far...

I'd say RN's is a bit of a trek from Leeds - it's near Holmfirth I think?

RN Goldens for me too. Always had good service from them and friendly staff. Never questioned anything when it comes to warranty issues, and i've had a few!!

Possibly has something to do with the fact that they are 4 miles from home.

From Leeds, about 25-30 miles, depending on which way you go.

Yes, I use KT Green's as well. No problems with any aspect of their service for me. Bought the MY00 from them, but as they were £5K out on the price of the MY01 I bought it elsewhere, but they still service it.

Undoubtably, if I lived nearer to Nottingham or Basildon I would have it serviced elsewhere, but there is no Impreza loving independent's around these parts, so KT Green's get the business. Pity the guy that owns it is so miserable though!!

Just had the car serviced by KT Greens (22.5)
Fine no probz, cost about 100 + vat. Dropped the car off on Friday teatime, picked up the courtesy Justy and collected the car Sat morn.
(Clutch Judder = "they all do that")

I bought the car from RN Goldens (Great drive from Leeds - unless you get stuck behind a queue of buses) = Top class dealership, I have nothing but praise for them.
(Clutch Judder = ? never asked)

York here I come for clutch judder.

I just moved from KT Greens to Pulleyns nr York.

Pulleyns have just done my 30k service, everything done on time, and also £80 cheaper than KT Green, including free courtesy car when KT charge for a c car.

They also got permission to fix my juddering clutch which KT Green said they couldn't fix.

I only work in Gods own county (ha ha) I actually live in his paradise, so I use Robinson's Rochdale. Cannot fault their service or attitude. Top men.

They have even loaned me courtesy cars when I would probably have told me to get stuffed with no notice etc.
