??????maf sensor or throttle esentuator?????????

car was running like a real pig.....sounded ill too (my00 uk)and was fixed under warranty....got told it was throttle sensor and it wont happen again......but me thinks that could not be the cause of it all, sounds too simple....anyone got any ideas?
