as title, does anyone know the kurb weight (pref kg's as im lazy ) of a uk model MY01 WRX?

From the EEC Certificate of Conformancy (which was conveniently sat on the shelf above me) ...

Mass of the vehicle with bodywork in running order: 1460 kg
Mass of the vehicle (ex. driver, coolant, oil, fuel): 1320 kg

Take your to a weighbridge, for an accurate weight. My legacy estate is 1540kg, including driver ( me ), with half a tank of fuel. If it wasnt for me, the car would fly...lol

The magazine quoted figures (taken from EVO) are:

WRX 1385kg. STI 1470kg. 94 Legacy Turbo 1380kg. New legacy RSK B4 1584kg. Classic shape Turbo 1235kg, P1 1283kg, 22B 1270kg

I'm assuming that the weighbridge figures (real life), and the EC cert figures (according to some strange rules from Brussels, I don't doubt) are not the same as the standard quoted kerbwieghts - to compare one with another you need to use the same measure.

so im about 150kgs up on a classic shape impreza....hmm

thats a good point stevie, theres a weighbridge at the quarry up on the hill im sure, how accurate that is though for car weight i dont know, normally 8 wheeler dump trucks
