Does anyone know the whereabouts of Phil Dawes?

Former scoobynet webmaster, owner of netmetrics.

I need to contact this person as a matter of urgency and have run out of ideas, so if anyone can help, please email me his current contact details.

I tried for sometime to contact Phil a while ago. So did Steve Breen and MarkO, all with no success.

I have since heard that the guys at Griffin may have a contact number.

 

Hi pete, afraid not, they need to find him too.

 

I need to contact phil so i can get some website domains he registered for me transfered now his servers have been switched off at the datacentre. Verisign will not transfer the domains to their rightfull owners without recieveing authorisation from him. Thats all i want, i am not after anything else from the guy, so if you know where he is let me know please.

Have you explained the problem to Verisign ???

They have a proceedure for dealing with this sort of problem.

Jeff, i have faxed them, emailed them, talked to them for over an hour at considerable cost and they wont do a thing unless phil sends them a fax.

As Phil registered these domains as himself as the owner, which he shouldnt have, legaly there is nothing verisign can do. The irony is verisign havent been paid for the domains, so they will release them eventually, but that is a computerised process and they couldnt tell me when that would happen. I even offered to pay all the unpaid fees to take over the domains, they still wouldnt do it.

I went through the process with my .co.uk domain no problem, they were far more logical!

 

John, just a thought, but I believe he used to have a banner ad on 22b.com. Perhaps "Harry Potter" knows where to get hold of him, as I daresay there's an invoice associated?

You never know...

had some progress, verisign have out of the blue given me access to some of the domains after telling me they couldnt legally do that.

that info about netmetrics being disolved may be what i need to sort the rest.
