Ferry my brother and all his mates to uni on the way to work daily.

Then it's weekly 200 mile roundtrip back home to wales and help parents with grocery shopping.

V4 Type R with possum link, blitz sus and hks full system.

So, knowing the 'practicality' that the Scooby has with 4drs, who uses it to ferry the kids about on a regular basis, or is it used as a second car for the weekend ?
And if so, is it modified (with a loud exhaust ?!) ?

Mine's used to commute on a daily basis (130 mile round trip) and to ferry the kids around when I'm at home, or at the weekend. When the missus's Pug 206CC comes, the Scoob will be our 'sensible car' (i.e. if she needs to take the kids further than school, we'll swap for the day).

TBH if I had a 'weekend toy' it would be a hell of a lot less practical than a Scoob.

Thats why i bought mine... sprog on the way and an entire in-law family that don't drive (me being the mug with the licence has to ferry them around). Use the car daily for work though it's only a 12 mile round trip so i don't get much chance to drive it the way it deserves.

Just sold my weekend toy (brought a tear to my eye)... hoping to get another for christmas.. probably a Cateram and an old Esprit this time.

My zorst is very loud, even in the car.
If I have sprogs, I'd be worried about damaging their hearing, or is this unfounded ?

MY00 Wagon, modified ....yes soon to be near 350bhp, fingers crossed.

100 mile round trip commute + other business mileage. Wife takes car when she goes out with Ladies Circle. If we go out at the weekend then its me, the wife, 2 kids in baby seats and guinnes the black lab and all the stuff you have to take with kids of this age. Would take wifes jeep if it had a bot more go and was cleaned out more regularly.

Used for several trips to builders merchants at weekends weighed down heavily. Often used in summer to carry the odd small straw bale from my dads farm.

My kids, 19 months and 4 months, absolutely love it. Eldest one chuckles when he hears the burble of the exaust, which is SS dp, magnex centre, ss bb.

Very practical AFAIC

missus usually blasts the stereo to keep the exhaust down.

hks hiper muffler, tested at approx 105dB at donnington but personally, i prefer the note to stereo.

car is mainly used by mum for the market during weekends where i take charge of her s40. says wouldn't stink up her car! anyway, she's the boss...

The reason we got a wagon - its a practical 5 door family estate car! 18 month old loves it and Mrs Cat refuses to think about selling so I guess I'm stuck with it

Got an STi BB for a little more noise, thinkinmg about a downpipe...

Sad to say that I take my 4 year old sprog to school in my Scoob. He's considered one of the coolest kids cause his mum has got a big, loud, fast car and they often comment on the size of the engine(exhaust)poking out of the back!! Bless em. Didn't get the car to be practical. Just for me and my fella to have a laugh in, plus it's my dream car. Promised myself one for years and now I have it!! OOOH I LOVE THAT CAR!!!!!

Have been using it as family car for last 3 years and was fine until second sprog arrived and now its (UK MY99 4 door) getting a bit tight on luggage space. With one sprog, Scoob was fine with roofbox. Now bought big booted mondeo for holidays. Scoob is now purely my commute / business car (shame )

I don't want my Scoob to be labelled as a people carrier

But it spends most of its time as a family car ferrying wife and 3yo to work shops etc.

Most of the family live in the frozen north so we travel long distances with lots of luggage, presents etc.

Had a Focus before that, Scoob much more practical. And fast

My 5 door is the family car... Roof box etc. But now with sprog number two, it's looking a bit small, plus it is expensive to run. So as I have the luxury of another car for weekends/track, the 5 dr is probably on the way out for a nice big Passat Estate...

My P1 is used daily for the school run etc, but I draw the line at using for the shopping any more, as some prat has opened their door into it on a couple of occasions whilst it's been parked up.
