Question

My UK MY98 seems to go well after its been warmed up,but it also seems to pick up better after the turbo has been used with a bit of right foot(feel the turbo cut in faster),is this normal due to the turbo ect. being a lot hotter or could it be a boost problem(i havnt got any gauges yet)
I hope this makes sense.

edited because im a sad git posting this time of night

I think the ECU "Adapts" to your driving.

I agree - after a good thrash the car feels smoother, faster & more responsive.

After a thrash your oil will be nice and warm and up to its most efficient operating temperature where is lubricates the best.

Since the speed of the turbo spinning depends a lot on the quality of the engine oil that lubricates its bearings then once the oil is at its best so will be the turbo.

That's a very simplified answer btw

Cheers

Is your car modified? If so what mods because your turbo might be starting to opperate outside its efficiency range. If standard, don't worry
