Hi M8
What about fitting my STI7 with a full exhaust ?
I heard there may be problems with the Turbo ?! Is it real ?
Will i destroy the turbo fitting it?

There is a much bigger thread about it somewhere on here, but basically yes you can decat on the downpipe with a restrictor fitted to prevent boost-spike, but leave the up-pipe as standard.

Ask Scoobysport, they have experience of de-catting STi7's.

I have the smaller cat removed at the base of the downpipe and a straight-thru center section, sounds much better and is easy to put back to standard if needed.

I've just received a replay from a guy who owns a STI full decatted and he didn't find any troubles with his car - so no problem for the Turbo.
Do you know if there are any differences between UK STI7 and Italian STI7 in this way?
i'm a little confused now...boh!
