Just a question, do you price the items to sell or price it ready for people to haggle and put in reasonable/silly offers?

I know, the obvious facts are sellers try for highest price and buyers the lowest but i do believe that some of us are generous enuff to price things so that the buyers are happy as they have secured a bargain - (bringing joy to the world?)

This is not meant to discredit anyone but from selling stuff on the bbs, i have encountered so many cahracters of different extremes. For eg. advertised a hks fcd 2mths old for £50 2nd hand (appox £95 new), is this priced to sell/ or too cheap? coz i had people who offered like £30 (which IMHO is f-ing silly). That's just an example.

i'm certain it will pi55 the seller, albeit a little, when this happens if the item is resonably priced to sell?

at the end of the day, you can only get what someone is willing to pay...as you say most people want to get as much as they can for something so will try the highest feasible price and then reduce as necessary, unless a quick sale is needed and a low price is used to get the reddies there and then...

picture trax 2002....

track session.... the straight after the grand stand right corner... car peaked at 120mph before overboosting, fuel cut, hessitation at 5k rpm.... out of corner of my eye a blue car overtaking....no!!!!!!!!

oh no!!! a saxo!!! caught on digicam and watched with teary eyes for the rest of the week. recurring nightmares.

anyway, knew the car was overboosting before going on track (never expected to be so bad) but managed to salvage some dignity by overtaking at corners but was absolutely killed on the straights...

respect for the saxo tho' with roll cage and stuff. it was quite fast and the driver was good as well. i'm still licking the wounds...

car will be going into garage for checks this weekend to rectify the problem, apparently faulty coil packs and pressure sensors.
