Following on from my DIY backbox question yesterday, and reading that the Magnex centre was fairly cheap on another thread, how difficult is it to change the centre section at the same time ?

Are there more hangers involved ? Presumably there'll be more bolts connected to the oem downpipe, and more wd40/elbow grease
required ?

There are 2 bolts from the downpipe the the centre section and 2 bolts from the centre to back box.
I think the centre only has 1 hanger the back box has 3.

The down pipe to centre bolts have springs on to alow a little movement in the joint. You may find the original bolts and spring will not fit the new centre. Not a problem, just replace with normal bolts

Iain.
